Securing a sustainable future for digital infrastructure

The Datacloud ESG Summit brought us together in Oslo, Norway on 26 - 27 September to tackle the pressing challenges and exciting opportunities facing the industry.
We united data centers, cloud providers, hyperscale, enterprise, equipment vendors, energy providers, real estate, financiers, network providers, tower, construction, and regulators, all of whom were seeking ways to run, or invest in, greener business. We opened up a dialogue, found solutions, and showed the world what's possible when collaborating toward a greener future

Panel: Building green data centers in North America.

The United States is home to approximately a quarter of all data center servers globally. The opportunity to design green, build green, adopt renewable energy and DCIM systems and virtualization of workloads is huge and increasingly, customers require certain sustainability standards such as the LEED System and Energy Star ratings. Panelists will evaluate

• the importance of a holistic approach to data center design, including liquid cooling

• AI systems to optimize energy consumption

• how to work with suppliers to manage waste
